
UKZN Academic Guest Editor for HIV Care Collection in BMC Health Services Research
Dr Mbuzeleni Hlongwa, an academic at the School of Nursing and Public Health at UKZN, has been honoured with the appointment as a Guest Editor for the HIV Care Collection within BMC Health Services Research.
The “HIV Care” Collection is dedicated to exploring implementation research related to the challenges and opportunities surrounding innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing access, delivery, and quality of HIV care. It also seeks to promote the integration of HIV care within different healthcare levels, prioritise the care of underserved populations, and addressing disparities in healthcare.
BMC Health Services Research is currently inviting submissions for the HIV Care Collection. Interested individuals are encouraged to contribute their manuscripts for consideration. ‘Please ensure that you review the submission guidelines provided before submitting your work via the designated submission system. All manuscripts submitted to this Collection will undergo the standard editorial evaluation and peer review process in line with BMC Health Services Research’s established criteria and policies. Please note that if your submission is accepted for publication, there will be an associated article processing charge, although a standard waiver policy is in place,’ said Hlongwa.
